Meet Ms. Carrano
Welcome! My name is Ms. Laura Carrano, and I am thrilled to be your first grade teacher!
Did you know that I went to Norton, Dodd, and Cheshire High School? It's such a rewarding experience to be teaching in the same school district in which I grew up. I received a Master's Degree in Remedial Reading/Remedial Language Arts, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Southern Connecticut State University.
I am the oldest of four siblings, and I have two awesome, little dogs: my spunky, goofy girl, Sophia, a ten-year-old Maltese; and my sweet, delicate Gracie Lou, a nine-year-old Miniature Poodle. We love going for walks. If we get too tired, we like to rest our little legs by taking a ride in the dog stroller.
